This work is inspired by the invisible (or not so invisible) labour women put into making events special (Christmas, Diwali, Birthdays - you name it) I wanted to emphasise the importance of rest and a sort of 'rest as protest' in snoozing on these domestic responsibilities. These figures are engaging in ‘rest as protest’, languidly lounging in an Ayam can.
2025 works, limited edition of 50. Giclee archival quality print on 320gsm fine art cotton rag paper, signed and editioned.

Paintings have been photographed to reproduce the real artwork as much as is possible, but may vary slightly from the image.
If something isn’t right or you have a change of heart, you have 14 days from the day you receive your parcel to return the item. Full-priced items can be returned for an exchange where product is available or a full refund of the item(s) excluding shipping costs. Returned item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, unused, in original condition with all labels/tags attached and returned within 14 days of receiving your product.
